A doctor in the making...

ELI'S GOING TO MEDICAL SCHOOL! HOORAY!!!!

He got his first acceptance at the University of Vermont in Burlington last week and we are ecstatic and relieved! After a slight detour that ended up being a blessing (moving to Payson and getting his Masters degree in Public Health), we are finally going to med school. Right now Vermont is the place unless he gets accepted at a school he likes better. Applying to med school is HARD WORK and an applicant has to be amazing to get in with all of their requirements. Eli definitely deserves this. CONGRATS LOVEY LOVE!!!!!!!!!

Here's the future Doctor Morey making the Good News calls to the fam!

Hi guys! I just "skipped," "jumped" and 'hopped" on over in this blogging world and wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS! What an exciting adventure. I'm glad you have your new little son to take the school journey with you:) We are glad everyday that we didn't wait to have our children (well, almost everyday LOL) We didn't make it through med school(just regular school) so I really have no grounds to stand on for advice...but that has never stopped me before:)
I would just say that it REALLY can be some of the best years of your young families life. Family housing to me was heaven on earth. I honestly imagine the celestial kingdom to be one giant family housing complex (only with dishwashers and clothes dryers...or maybe that was part of the fun after all!) One of the other things I love is having friends all over the world that we meet while in school....Singapore, Hawaii, Abu Dhabi, just about every state and of course local too from Longmont down to the Springs. Tanner is adorable, I see a lot of Eli in him and a little bit of Sara too. Are they not so fun to look at and guess who they look like, ponder where they were before they came to live here with us, and who they might grow up to be. Our newest family news is that we just welcomed our fourth little one about 6 weeks ago. Another girl, so we are tied two for two.
Good luck, and keep blogging:)
