Alpine Loop

Since the Nebo Loop didn't satisfy our craving for a fall drive through the mountains, we went on the Alpine Loop a few days later. The trees were in the process of changing and a lot of them were still green. But it was still B-E-A-utiful!! We went with Eli's cousin Luiz and his beautiful (and pregnant - yay!) wife, Maria. We cooked tin foil dinners, popcorn, and smores over the fire. My favorite! Again Tanner's nose was running like a faucet but he had fun playing with the sticks, dirt, and leaves all over the ground. He is such a boy!

After the drive, we went to Sandy because Eli's mom was in town visiting while her mom participated in the Senior Olympics at 82 years old. Inspiring! She hasn't seen him since he was one week old so it was so sweet to watch her interact with our active little guy.
