Welcome to my life! I am Tanner Joseph Morey and I'm SIX WEEKS OLD!! Check out what I've been up to for the past 6 weeks.
I don't show it, but i LOVE baths! And showers! They remind me of the womb. And mommy sings this silly song called Splish Splash that I like.
Yeah, I'm showing off. But hey, it's one of the only skills I've had since birth! Who wouldn't show off?
Mommy holds my hands to keep me from flinching in my sleep - I do that a lot. It startles me, but I get over it pretty quick and go back to dreaming about chocolate milk.
I LOVE to "speak" as mommy and daddy say! They say I'm getting so good. I just wish I had a better handle on how to use this big red thing in my mouth.
I wish mommy would wait until spring to take me on walks. It is FREEZING outside! She keeps saying something about her tummy feeling better when she walks. I guess the doctors took some scissors and cut her open. Walking makes her feel better. I guess I'll just tough it out when I feel the stinging cold on my face.
Getting your blood drawn in exhausting. I already have one up on mommy and daddy - I was only 2 1/2 weeks old when I first got my blood drawn. I think I saw mommy crying when I was at the doctor. She didn't have to do that till she was 23. I'm already tough.
Mom always puts me in front of this big white thing and I hear grandma's voice coming out. It's SO weird. But I like her voice - it's so happy!
It may look like I'm looking at grandma on the big white thing. But really I'm looking at my favorite thing in the room - the giant black thing with points on the end. Mommy and daddy call it a STAR. I don't care what it's called - I like it! It is MESMERIZING.
Even though I like eating with mommy, daddy is good at feeding me a bottle. I guess I have to get good at eating from a bottle because mommy has to go back to teaching all the 9 year olds she took me to meet at a place called school.
Aunt Debbie (my adopted aunt) gave me this hat. It's warm and people say I look so cute. I already knew that!
This is a MUCH better way to see the world - facing out. So many black and white things to look at. What a cool world!
I'm not a fan of getting into my carseat. But once I'm there, I fall right to sleep. It's so cozy. And mommy puts these warm things on my feet to keep me warm. She calls them baby uggs.
Mommy has these long stringy things coming from her head. I just can't resist grabbing them and pulling. It's so fun!
He kept telling me to reach, so I reached. Too bad my arm isn't longer.
